Monitoring the mare during her pregnancy and prenatal care are very important.  The CEH team can advise you on proper vaccination protocol, deworming, and nutrition.

Our ultrasound capabilities allow us to monitor the health of the embryo and fetus and also assess the health of the placenta. 

Within 12 hours of delivery we assess the foal for health and make sure the foal absorbed the very important antibodies from the colostrum. We have hospitalization facilities to manage sick foals that need plasma transfusions or supportive care after birth.
