Carolina Equine Hospital provides both general and secondary level care to horses in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina.  All doctors and staff in our practice have a strong commitment to the education and mentoring of students, externs and interns.  We will provide students with a wide variety of equine experiences in a progressive and positive private practice setting. 

Our caseload encompasses a wide variety of engilsh sport and western disciplines as well as pleasure horses.  We see approximately 30% sports medicine, 20% reproductive, 30% preventative medicine and dentistry and 20 % internal medicine/ophtho/neonatal.

The practices sees routine appointments during the week and on Saturday mornings.  A signficant lameness caseload is seen throughout the year.  Spring is the busiest season with new foals and reproductive work (AI, shipped semen, ET).
