Digital Ultrasound technology is available at Carolina Equine Hospital. Ultrasound is used most commonly to diagnose soft-tissue injuries that contribute to equine lameness.

Ultrasound is also used to evaluate other organ systems such as the liver, lungs, intestines, kidneys and bladder.
