Jennifer Walker
Jennifer is a Veterinary Assistant from Ruffin, NC. She lives with her semi-retired horse Jebb, her pet cow Shelby, and her adopted dogs Jody and Prailene.
She has been with the hospital for over nine years and has experience with many species of animals. Jennifer grew up with horses, dogs, and cats. Her pet cow, Shelby has been a new experience and has added enjoyment to life on the farm.
Jennifer enjoys working around the farm, barrel racing, trail riding with friends, and drag racing. She began riding and showing hunt seat as a child, and has expanded her disciplines over the years to include western pleasure and barrel racing. She has an Associates in Arts degree from Rockingham Community College and is currently in school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Lani Willcockson
Lani received her Associates Degree of Animal Care and Management from Alamance Community College. She has worked as a veterinary technician for six years in small animal practices.
Most recently, Lani worked for Carolina Veterinary Specialists in their emergency department for two years. Aside from her work as a vet tech, Lani has also trained horses and taught riding lessons to people of all ages and abilities.
Lani began riding at age 6 and later showed and worked with American Saddlebreds, but has also worked with other breeds such as Hackney ponies, Morgans, Haflingers, and draft breeds. Lani now enjoys trail riding and driving her horses Gertrude and Whiskey and enjoys spending time with her three rescued dogs, Roswell, Doodle, and Max.
